Things, thankfully seem to be softening a bit now though.
It needs to soften a lot, empires and trading blocs change but geography doesn't lie.

There’s been too much shit from the U.K. and EU member states aimed at each other since this all begun so it’ll take time.It needs to soften a lot, empires and trading blocs change but geography doesn't lie.

It’s in everyone’s interest to try and come up with a better workable relationship.
Not arsed anymore mate, currently in the process of selling most of my business interests and property. The govt need to sell FOM, without that being on the table the EU will have none of it that's worthwhile.

Hope to be in Mexico in next 18 months. :-)
They will soften the rules slightly but only to the point where it benefits them. They seem pretty keen seeing as they are in talks to scrap the 90 day maximum stay(along with France)
The whole Brexit thing left a bad taste in the mouths of pretty much every country already a member due to the U.K. pretty much trying to shit on them all during the campaign.

I would strongly advise against anyone moving here without a TIE card. You’re entitled to nothing without one. They will soften the rules slightly but only to the point where it benefits them.
Personally I think the rules they introduced with regard to existing British expats seemed pretty onerous, and it would make me very hesitant to move over there without an EU passport given the scope for the rules to change again in the future.
If my offer gets accepted on the house I’m looking at over there I’ll save you a sun longer by the pool.. :-)I will see you there.
In 1970 of course ;)

Yeah if you have pots of cash and fulfill all the extra rules brexit boughtMy point is that people can still move, work and settle, the EU has only been a thing for a short length of time.
