If anyone still thinks Brexit provides what he said there's little point explaining reality.Cue a queue of qués.
The problems with Dublin Airport is almost exclusively down to being chronicly understaffed in all areas, this with an Airport management widely accepted as incompetent. All European airports are facing the same headwinds, Dublin for example. Dublin is an airport in the EU so what’s their excuse if the UK wouldn’t have any problems if it weren’t for Brexit?
I won’t dispute that we may struggle for longer. Should that happen then he could reasonably say it’s an issue created by Brexit.
It’s also down to flights being cancelled here. Planes are scheduled to be at certain destinations at certain times. Cancelling flights has a knock on effect all over the place. The problems with Dublin Airport is almost exclusively down to being chronicly understaffed in all areas, this with an Airport management widely accepted as incompetent.
The lack of staff has long been a bugbear and the working conditions are also widely accepted as pretty terrible so that's part of the problem.
Not to say Brexit hasn't had an impact on us it most certainly has.
Hadn't given that much thought but yes I imagine it could be extremely disruptive. It’s also down to flights being cancelled here. Planes are scheduled to be at certain destinations at certain times. Cancelling flights has a knock on effect all over the place.
