I put this question forward to my home forum and I thought I'd ask the same question here.

What qualities do you think makes a legend in your opinion?

Any thoughts?

Twins, at the same time.

Love the twins answer!

Okay, I should've been more expansive.

Is a legend defined by being a one-club servant or long serving player?
Is it a player who's been a critical part of your success?
Does it mean something undefinable? A certain quality or qualities that make them stand out from the others?
Can you identify a potential legend within a short space of time?

a legend can be made in an instant like the first time Barry Conlon pulled on the skyblue shirt or when Berti crossed that white line at Eastlands.
It can be a lifelong service or an unexpected set of circumstances but it is sometimes just in the minds and hearts of the fans with no reason

so I think I am saying that there probably no explaination of why certain fans make any player a legend
