How do you pronounce tongue?

I've always pronounced it as "tong" but now it seems most people I know say "tung"

I think it's kinda half way between tong and tung. I think the o's a lot flatter so you kinda say tng...

But most Mancs will probably pronounce it tong, like I probably do, when not thinking about it...

I'm from Bromley originally and down there they'd say it almost like tang.

Now I say tung like Id say flung, in a northern accent.

James says it like tong, but not quite like that . Its kind of in between and that is the proper manc way I guess. I've tried and tried to say it like him but I fail every time, much to his amusement....
