How does booing help?

involuntary booing cant be stopped,so much emotion, expectation, frustration will not produce 'oh dear' ,the reaction is a gut thing, not premeditated(apart from a few) not intended to achieve anything, just pure frustration. There is a level of desperation at Coms, could it all go tits-up, jesus another false dawn, etc confidence is very brittle not like a few years ago when 40 points was all we realistically longed for.I want the booing to stop, but for the right reason,i.e. nothing to boo at,even for those with an agenda

All the boo boys who call themselves City Supporters gave the media and the Rags where I work plenty to crow about this morning . They asked me if I had been booing my team. I could answer no but a lot on this forum couldn't.
This team needs some encouragement...we are fourth in the Premier.

I think thats right and the response was a shocked irrational response by many to the substitution which most obviously felt was not going to help City win the game.

There are some sanctimonious responses on here to those that booed but the fact is that it was probably the majority that booed and these were mainstream City supporters not some JCL's or casual internet observers.

If they booed there was a reason for it. I didn't join in but I understood entirely why they were so frustrated.

All this holier than thou/ better supporter than you stuff is just bollox. As many supporters booed as didn't. All ages in all parts of the ground. Rather than criticising half our supporters or more you might think about why they reacted the way they did.

And anyone who wasn't at the game has no right to criticise the fans reaction.

It was a shit thing to happen but shit usually happens for a reason.

Involuntary booing !!? Sorry but that's bullsh*t everyone is in control of their emotions and can choose or not to choose to Boo. You're saying that people boo'd and then went - 'blimey where did that boo come from, I was possessed by an involuntary emotion, I didn't really want to do it, it just happened' Get real !

I've disagreed with many a managers decisions but I have never chosen to boo.

Booing your team, especially with 10 mins to go is just a joke and there is no defence, those fans are just doing the team and the club a disservice and making an embarrassment of the club.

Do you think the rags were booing with 10 minutes left at Wolves, I can call the rags a lot of things, but usually whenever I've watched them I've never heard them booing their own team.

It helps to identify the knobheads
There were over 30,000 of those there on Saturday then. Because nearly everyone booed that decision to replace Tevez with Barry.

30,000 knobheads, then

Scenecreamer’s post count tells us nothing. Your post count though…

TBH I read scenecreamer’s post and I viewed it as a humorous reply. You should take life, and yourself, a bit less seriously, fella. I don’t take you seriously at all ;)

LOL That's more like it.

As for who I am...I am a normal Blue. Certainly nowhere near our status of being the biggest, bestest, Uber Blue like you. (who happens to know sfa about tactics judging by your posts). ;)
