How is everyone feeling?

Starting to feel better then the BT advert comes on for the Spurs v Ajax semi which is less than two weeks away. Back to feeling totally gutted.

Last night I was fine I accepted the decisions etc it was a great match, then I got out of the stadium and got back to see the handball. Well that fucked me right off plus the gloating by other fans on how we should win everything and despite reasoned argument that we were never wining the quadruple. All day it’s been on my mind, we need to win the league starting with Sat, no hangover from last night the team need to go and smash them, like they did last night just with better defending

At full time I was gutted walking back to the car, listening to the spurs fans in the distance made me think I have seen my team (whom I travel 550 miles round trip every home game) win! Yes we won on the night, and we will do it again this Saturday! Thinking this way made me feel a whole lot better We were not beaten by a team we were beaten by a system, In Spain the rule by where if the ball touches the hand or arm its a free kick regardless if its accidental or not (it's coming next season to the prem). We weren't part of a superb match,, its just another Hamburg another Monaco, we'll become back! For sure.
I'm with you on winning Saturday. They will want to win ,for themselves ,for us. We all pull together at times like this and it is a huge help -many many mature supporters in here with great attitude and wisdom regarding football.
We want the premier league so much now C L is gone. If the Etihad was rocking last night the whole roof can lift off Saturday . Let's lift our boys again . It's the very least we can do .

I am surprisingly ok!

Think having witnessed such a game has helped me a bit. Few rags have wound me up today going on about quads etc but the champions league is very tough and I don’t think we were pragmatic enough.

If we lose the league I will be gutted.

We were too pragmatic at Spurs

Today has been a day for taking names.

I've had Emptihad jibes, remarks about last night....it can be tough flying the flag in Ireland, especially when some of the offending items have never even been to Manchester or Liverpool. Imagine being called a glory hunter by some monobrow from the Gaeltacht, having been born and living within a few miles of Maine Road.

I'm relaxed.

I've just had half a bowl of tomato soup. Started to feel a tad better, but my stomach still feels like it's been ripped out.

First time can bring myself to comment on it. Deflated big time. Genuinely think the goal could of been disallowed but in reality it wasn't clear cut. If it's really true the ref wasn't shown the angle that showed it hitting his elbow, thats so poor....

On a brighter note, always preferred singing Istanbul Istanbul we are coming

Think it's probably an age thing, by yesterday afternoon I was just looking forward to winning the last 6 and it being a great season, losing on Saturday would hit me harder. But for my 18 year old son it really hurt. Leaving the ground and the 4 hour drive back we didn't really talk about it , bit stunned . Last night he was saying it wasn't the losing it was the euphoria then having it snatched away. Got me thinking it's his first real City scar that will probably stay with him.
Then read this and though for me it's just another one to add to the many, but for him, first cut, but will probably make him more 'City'. Then found this which made me smile.

League for me every time. Champions of England is more important than a cup competition, regardless of how much it is hyped. I just hope to God the players are up for the games now......tough end to the season, but they need to realise that the domestic treble has never been done.
