How many here are multilingual?

I’m a man of many tongues.

What about 'forked' ones? On the other hand I have failed with honours any attempts to learn a European language (I've only attempted those with Latin alphabets!) - French, Spanish, German, Italian. I'm currently trying to assimilate some Dutch but they are near all bilingual over there so it seems a pointless exercise! Within the last week I have downloaded an app on Lithuanian flashcards!

Got to be brainy to know what mensa means
From memory, it merely means Table.

Romani ite domum (thank you, Brian).

I can get by with French, nowhere near fluently, but enough to make myself understood. That, and the OU dictionary by my side, helps me through most situations.

Also a relative fluency in ordering drinks in German and Spanish.
