How many more players we need

am i the only one who still feels we need a commanding centre back we are still interested in sebastian coates he would be an exellent addition with nasri.i like savic but doesnt look aggressive enough from what ive seen hes a good passer though but if lescott gets injured id be worried but we will see.

I'm not too worried. Lescott and Kompany are good enough for the mean time until Savic is first team quality. Coates is a heck of a player. More of a classic centre back though. However, Savic's qualities are very useful (especially for teams like us or inter). Kompany almost certainly achieve the title of the best marauding centre back in Europe (based on last season). If Savic is billed to eventually equal or surpass that, screw me....

Nasri I've grown to accept is likely our imminent signing over Pastore.

Three of the players on that list are under 21 so don't count towards the 25 man pro squad. Swp is likely to go as well from mancinis comments. Weiss is over 21 I have doubts he will get a squad place as well.

with the players that are likely to still leave we are a fair few off a full squad currently.
