Er no it wasn't, it was a fairly good start for them after 2 outlier seasons where they hugely overperformed.

There's only one head to head match left between those 3 so any 2 of them (+Leicester and rags) could still catch us. Extremely unlikely but still possible.

i think the title will be won by utd losing points rather than city aiming for a point total from here on in
city control everything in our own hands and its the best way around it. also with that comes the knowledge somebody will get points of united and the white flag will be waved
city have done this before and in winning both cups and league title. so we know what it takes to win more than one trophy a season ? but this season feels different and the champions league holds not many fears ?
the thing with champions league football is you have to win the knockout ties in the first leg really. take away the pressure of needing to win the 2nd leg suits city this season. its down to the defence and the back 4 and pep false 9 system ? if you get a good lead in the first leg the other team has to come out and play and city will just pick them off
its going to be hard but this city team and pep are made of good stuff. if we come up short in one or two of the cups then nobody can moan really because we have been without a main striker all season. winning the title like we have after a dodgy start is enough for me and everything else is just gravy

I've just had a quick check of Utds fixtures. I reckon they will get 18 points from those 9 fixtures to finish on 75. So 2 more points to be clear points wise.

The Rags will get a lot of points from the 27 on offer. They are shite to watch, play kick and rush football, but they're second in the league. It's a fucking travesty, but they will definitely win a lot of those remaining 9 games.
