Nose was about 6 inches from the TV screen and I couldn't unclench my fists to even check the phone. Doubt they'd have taken a bet at that stage anyway, it usually gets killed around 90 minutes.

i was the opposite. i was convinced City would score once but only once, therefore losing the league by one goal

I was down and out going into injury time, I said to my lad it's over, without a word of a lie he said "we've done it before we can do it again" (Gillingham) How right he was.

Among all the lows of being a blue, bizarrely the two worst feelings I’ve had were both when we scored - Horlock’s against Gillingham and Dzeko’s against QPR. At those precise moments, they both felt like the biggest kick in the balls ever - the most typical of typical City moments. A horrible empty feeling........ glad to say they were shortly followed by the two best feelings I’ve ever had watching City !!!
