The simple fact is the players on the pitch created enough opportunities to win that game they didn’t produce the necessary down To the players as far as I’m concerned
Exactly mate, how the hell is this Peps fault ? It would different if that they hadnt created at all. Like you say it's all down to players not producing. Pep did nothing wrong, it was still a strong 11.

we were very fortunate to beat Dortmund, we were largely bobbins. Despite that, taking our chances would have ended with a 4/5-1 win and we could have played a stronger team today and won. League on track and CL sorted, we make it unnecessarily hard for ourselves with too many unenforced errors when it matters.
We were not, as you put it, "largely bobbins" against Dortmund.

If we were so bad, how did we have so many chances that we failed to score from?

You're completely contradicting yourself.

no I'm not. We were largely bobbins, which we were, and we had a little spell where we should have scored a hatful, and didn't. Hence meaning we had rest people today and risk getting done on away goals next week instead of it being over.

Just cool it everyone. Pep knows what hes doing. Today was always going to be tricky game the way Leeds play. You could tell this was a test that Bielsa had been looking forward too. It was like a cup final for them, they have nothing to play for. Unfortuntely we couldn't bury the many chances we created.

Who are the 2 games before champions league semis if we best dortmund?
3 not 2 ... Chelsea in FA Cup Semi Final on Saturday then Villa (A) in the league on Wednesday and Carabao Cup Final against Spurs on Sunday ... CL semi first leg (away) “could” be 48 hours after that final on Tuesday itself or on Wednesday.

Madrid played full team v Barça and pulled their 3 most important players on 70 mins when they'd done the damage and won the game with 2nd leg at Klanfield in mind

So , by this reasoning(yours) City will smash Spurs in the Carabao Cup Final, right ?
So , yo7 won’t be posting any negative thoughts beforehand, right ?
Two different teams (us and utd)...the way we play can leave us open to a fast breaking team like spurs if we make mistakes in posession....the way utd play with a deeper back 4...two holding mids and whom play on the break themselves means though they are shit to watch, against spurs they may have too much

Personally I hope spurs smash them but I wont hold my breath on it (as Pep has said we will have to everything we get)....I hope Jose is up for putting one over his old bosses and that type of shit motivates him sometimes. Is Son fit as not heard about him in ages...he can make the difference

Spurs conceded 23 attempts last week against Newcastle! I think their players have had enough of him.

More likely that we'll rest players against Villa if we're still in the CL.

If United win tomorrow there's very little chance Pep is fielding a weakened team in the next league match and allow the possibilty of the lead to go to 5 points, certainly not another seven changes.

Regardless of whether we're in the Champions League or not

Is Pep risking losing the league, by playing weakened teams in league games, to try and get to the final of the C/L
