The last break went really fast. This one is going at a snail's pace. Still the 3 o'clock kick offs are nearly upon us, very small consolation but it'll do. Plus Gillingham v pompey on tomorrow.
Soon be next Saturday.....*sigh*
Crap, crap and even more crap. Just when you get the players working well together we stop for another International break. Another two to go as well. Goat to be a better way.
The price we pay for the tournaments, which make the time between seasons go quicker.
South American qualifiers make this time pass much quicker for me, the games are fast, competitive and actually decent quality.
This break has actually benefitted us so far, more time for those with injuries to recover whilst not missing games, touch wood we don't pick up any injuries today through Wednesday.
I can't remember the last time I watched an England game full stop. Seriously. It was probably during the 2010 World Cup. I gave up on the England national side after that and am now thoroughly disinterested in international football as a whole.
I do get pissed off when our players go off to play for their countries and come back injured. Vinny was the latest but how many times has Silva played for Spain and come back to join our injury list?
On the plus side it gives Sergio an extra week or so to get over his broken rib.
