Howard Webb

Just compare the contact on Piennar last night towards the end to the contact on Sterling.

Unforgivable decision making and the **** even had the audacity to laugh it off with an Everton player who put his arm round him.

Leicester away. He repeatedly denied the foul on Aguero was a penalty, said something along the lines of "anywhere else on the pitch it was a foul" which Savage picked up on as it must be a penalty. Not so, according to our world cup referee.

I can't find a youtube of the original footage but BT Sport did a follow up to make light of the idiot.

Referee syndicate makes me sick

It's becoming a real joke now the amount of times we're being denied penalties. Clear penalties.

The Premier League and its referees are essentially labelling us and our players, Sterling and Aguero in particular, as divers and cheats, despite evidence to show that we are in fact not getting the correct decisions.

They say the decisions even themselves out over a season - therefore we're due at least 5/6 penalties that shouldn't have been pens, as well as the right calls being made, for the rest of the season. If the saying was true, we'd end up with around 10 pens in our remaining games which is NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. Cheating twats.

What we have seen recently with Howard Webb, is an example of why video reffing worries me.

If it's done by a computer, like the goal line decisions, I'm all for it. If it's involving people looking at a replay & making a decision, then it's wankers like Howard Webb who are likely to be the arbiters of those decisions. These are the same people who have been allowing Wayne Rooney to swear in their faces for 20 years unchallenged whilst instantly sending off some random Frenchman for the same offence. The people who change the rules in order to prosecute City players on video evidence. The people who allow Fellaini to commit red card offences in almost every game he plays. The same ilk who have been giving Utd & Liverpool borderline or dodgy last minute pens for the past 50 years or so, whilst ignoring others.

Howard Web has shown us how he can interpret two similarly debatable incidents, one of which involves a serial diver, one a bloke who doesn't dive, & award the penalty to the serial diver, but ignore the other claim ,because the bloke who doesn't dive, had his hands in the air. An easier way to describe his decision would be that only one of them wears a red shirt.

Do we really want people like him, & Poll, making video decisions during games ?

You can bet your bottom dollar the Webb has his say on appointments for BT sport games as well the cheating ****.

Referee syndicate makes me sick

so what your saying howard webb is ashley young and united players can swan dive 99 times out of 100 and its a pen but man city 99 times out of 100 its a dive shocking by the media and BT sports
not only was the pen was given but a red card after rooney and others pointed to the ref to send him off makes me sick

Excellent post and I 100% believe the referee syndicate are deeply invested over in the decisions we have faced this season.
It's just not possible that we could have had so much bad luck so it has to be an instructed planned attack on our players, team and fans
It was an horrendous error by the ref and i still think we just have poor officials.

Do i think certain refs are running our league and having an impact on a multi billion pound industry, no i don't.

Media bias yes, thats there for all to see by some journo's

Just recently it's happening too often to just be poor refereeing. Either consciously or sub consciously referees are reluctant to give us not only the big decisions (the two stone wall penalties against Everton recently for instance) but also the smaller ones - a case in point being the constant fouling of Aguero last night allowed to happen for the duration.

this from talksport is spot on about Ashley young and diving
why would aguero be thinking am going down he is a great player and wants to score first than am thinking I want a pen first

So when 100 posters come on aft every poor decision and say corrupt and bent as fuck are we saying Scudamore is sending the word down to stop us, or the refs are getting together and deciding to halt our progress?
