The Grove,back of bus station. Largest range of real ale in udds.

When arriving by the train use the Head of Steam at Huddersfield station the other station bar is awful.

When arriving by the train use the Head of Steam at Huddersfield station the other station bar is awful.
The Kings Head on the left as you exit the station is a real ale bar with a great range of national beers,the HoS is full of chavs.
2 mins away is The Malinsons Corner Bar,Wappy Nick,Old Market Place.
A micro brewery,brilliant selection,very low prices & owned by 2 City girls.

Fully agree, cracking place.Good boozer.
Have you tried The Malinsons Corner Bar in Wappy Nick,Market Sq in udders centre. 2 mins from Station.
It's a micro brewery,best beer in udds,run by two City girls & 10 mins walk from ground.
Good before or after the game.
Excellent food also.

Got to say I've only been in either partway through an ale trip rather than midweek but it'll be an ale trip day in Huddersfield.'Ere 'ere.....TKH is full of 'tickers'.

End of the day a hundred blues will set the atmosphere anywhere anyway.

long time since I have been to Huddersfield, so any where to have a drink, we are coming off the M62 so a pub about 10 mins walk to ground would be ok

Lots of recommendations on the match & Ale Trail threads.
Slubbers Arms or Magic Rock are good real ale houses.
