The great thing today was the formation.

3 @ back with ball and 4 without.

When Sane and Mahrez where on they where consistently changing sides.

Our players have to be intelligent as well as excellent technical players.

Mendy is such a threat on the left.

We must be a nightmare to play against. I expect a lot of high scores as when we get 3 up and go in energy conserving mode the subs that come on want to impress and of such a high quality they make things happen.

Our best player is injured and our MOTM last week did not play, we did not miss a beat!

Whether Liverpool are good enough to challenge, I don’t know but if any team finishes above us in the league on merit they will have to be a great team as this is the best we have ever been!!

All of the above is correct, of course, but surely the main thing to glean from today is that Mike McLean is a very funny guy

Really? Must admit he got back and won the ball back and made some nice touches but I thought he was sloppy again.

Interesting? Me I thought they all played well including Gundogan. If gundogan was sloppy what was Jesus?

And Foden showed, when he came on, that he is not out of place amongst our more established international stars. The lad is phenomenal. Really expect him to be called up by Southgate into the next England squad. Only just got in, so sorry if something similar already posted.

The performance today was more fluid than the old Trafford mauling. The old Trafford game perhaps nicks it because of the opposition but today in terms of quality was better.
