saw a report from her on the Peterborough game on yesterdays final score

Where I am sat you can never hear anything intelligible over the PA anyway doesn't matter who does it .
 
I decided not to have an half time pint yesterday, all I noticed was some young lad getting embarrassed at some of the questions on the big screen. It wasn't the ferrit though.
 
Surely, the club are monitoring social media, including here, and must know that he's not going to win many popularity contests, shirley? I thought McLean (sp?) was okay during HT yesterday. Isn't it worth giving him a go at the gig?
 
Don't get what the problem is.
He does Lancs t20 games too and is always good.
People moan too much.

I totally agree with this.

Mike McClean is a professional presenter / comedian and his sense of humour is a bit of light relief and reminder of the old days as a City fan.

He can be a bit close to the bone sometimes, but if you gave him the main gig I think he’d reign it in and do a great job.

Ferris would be more suited to golf. Or selling insurance.

Maybe they do monitor social media, but 8 pages in about 18 months suggest most people don't really care one way or the other. Doesnt bother me but I find Mclean annoying.
 
Personally there would be better candidates if I was in charge of recruitment, however I will stop short of wishing someone out of a job who is inoffensive.
 
Can't decide who is more annoying; Hugh Ferris, the stadium announcer or the City commentator who pronounces Sergio Aguero "Serthio Awhero"
 
I have to say that Mike McLean can be pretty funny at times but asking young kids if Mummy has other Men round the house when Daddy's at work it is a little bit dodgy to say the least.
