hughes and kaka

Fuck all I'd say.....like the Bellamy one!! Although I do think Bridge was all his own work.

i dont think hes got the flair to deal with kaka! also i dont think hed sit in his office and think well go for kaka, meddling from above if you ask me

Everyone is talking about Kaka, what about the home grown gem quietly lifting the team. As a city fan, I would rather see Sturridge given his chance! Hughes knows what he is doing and using the Kaka transfer as a smoke screen!

Can you explain what you mean? You'd rather we not sign Kaka? You think Hughes does not rate Sturridge, but hasn't the balls to get rid, but is somehow going to use Kaka as an excuse for not playing him in the future?

I imagine it was the owners that pitched the idea but I really doubt it went by Hughes without his consent.

Agreed. But I think consent is as far as it went ( hey. that rhymes!).

Hughes has pursued RSC, Bellamy and Upson. He wants his comfort zone back.

I am more or less convinced now that he is not the man to take us forward.

Sturridge may do ok starting the odd game but on the whole he's better coming off the bench. He started v Forest but didn't look as good as their players on the day. If he's good enough he'll force is way in.

Hughes said he's been involved for some time in the decision on Kaka & I don't think he was lying. Why the fuck wouldn't he want Kaka? He just wants to sign a few players to get stuck in & give Kaka etc the ball.

Some people on here cant resist having a dig. Do you not recall the fact that Hughes was on the golf course whilst Robinho was bought. It seems to me quite clear (as it should be) he tells Gary Cook who in turn tells the owners who he would like.

They as the money men pitch to the player and the clubs involved and deal at a price that they are happy with if they are not happy they dont deal. It might be that Hughes/Cook have authority to deal on their own for lower value players but I am sure that it is all about delegation.

No manager in the world would say no to Kaka and he would be on any managers shortlist of top 5 players in the world. I am sure at some point we will enquire about Villa, Messi, Aguero it just depends which one will cause the biggest impact.

If you look at things from our onwers point of you they have been on SSN for the past 48 hours and you cant buy that type of publicity. This deal will be talked about for the next 3 months and every time we play it will be a huge event

That won't actually help us get 3 points on Saturday, or next week at Newcastle, will it?

The saying 'life is what happens whilst you're making plans' comes to mind.

No it wont but I am just saying that I would suggest that Hughes has a large input into who we are to buy it is just that it is up to the money men to get those targets
