hughes had no chance

Even though I lost faith in Hughes as a manager and wanted him, or more accurately his useless cronies, to leave I am dismayed at the manner of his leaving. The one good thing about City I loved was our loyalty and integrity.

We lost a bit of that when Thaksin took over but we seem to have lost it completely now the new owners have taken over and Garry Cook, a Thaksin prodigy, became the Chief Executive.

Is there anyone left running the club that has any connection with City and loyalty to, its history and culture?

In contract disput with Inter and not allowed to work whilst it was in the courts.

Fair enough, didn't know that.

If he was any good he wouldn't have been sacked by Inter and replaced by Mourinho. Face it, we've settled for second best here. We needed to either stick with Hughes or replace him with one of the world's best managers.

He wasn't really sacked either. He announced he was leaving months before he actually did. He then came under pressue to stay and reversed the decision. At the end of the season, after another league title, the club decided that they didn't want him hanging around, no doubt aware that he had previously decided to go, his heart might not have been 100% in it and Mourinho was available as a ready made replacement.

Of all the 'sackings' in recent footballing history, his 'sacking' at Inter must be one of those least due to getting managerial results.

So now you are going to have to find another reason as to why he is shit. You seem determined to do so.
