Hughes Out, in, out, in, out, shake it all about.

Left leg in hughes Out camp, right leg in Hughes In camp, then I shake it all about.

Seriously though, I have some doubts about Hughes succeeding in the Long Term, but I still think he has done enough for us to stick with him for stability sake. I think the workrate of Robbie and Elano yesterday is evidence of Hughes actually improving them as players. They are now combining their immense skills with committment and workrate.

Stick with Hughes one more season, that's what I would do.

If youre prepared to accept another season of failure... correct.

Regardless of whether he stays or goes it is unlikely that we will win anything next year due to the complete fuck up he has handed down to us this year. If we were to get rid of him at the end of the season we would stand a better chance as the new incumbent would have an opportunity to repair the damage he's done. If not... it's more of the same I'm afraid.

The why keep him now?? - I think the improvement in Robinhos workrate is related to the fact that Elano is playing - and nothing else. Those two have been big friends since their time at Santos.

Give me £100m on top of a slightly slightly above average squad and i'll fail to qualify for europe and get knocked out of the domestic trophies at the first time of asking.

In my opinion, for what it's worth, take it or leave it.... What a complete load of bollocks.

the sad fact is..some people made up their minds a long time ago one way or another...

Personally I do believe you have to be quite pragmatic (like most jobs), and look at lots of things, and lots of matches. A managers posiition has to be constantly evaluated, and I`m sure Hughes' is.

I will accept at times I have wanted him out (after Brighton, Forest, Stoke away).
However at times I have listened to what he says and belived in it (the Mail interview a while back), in addition, some of the football played this season (even now), is immense.

The owners will be looking at stats (its reported that they like the OPTA stats and Guardian % pass things), in addition to results on a nd off the pitch, and overall trends..all in all much like any other business.

Personally if Hughes finishes lower than 9th I think he may go (if there is no better replacement).
Anything better, and allowing for a few other factors he will be here till Christmas at least. But again, if we lost 10 matches on the bounce he`ll be gone. Likewise we win 10 and he may get an extension on his contract.
