So we are playing one of the worst sides in the division not an away game in 12. So what do ?
Bring back Elano and break them down with his passing ?
No you play 2 defensive midfielders and real backs to the wall stuff type defending.

WTF is going on we are home 40,000+ fans and we are playing as we're against one of the top 4

Do you not realise that playing a forward line like ours means we need 2 defensive midfielders to do all the work, that is why our defense has been run ragged earlier in the season.

Besides if you have class dm's are they not able to pass the ball and go box to box aswell ?

So long as he's prepared to change things I don't see too much of a problem. And I don't see 2 DM's as necessarily a negative thing, if the men ahead can play with a bit more freedom to attack it can be quite a positive tactic.

I take it use two are watching this game aren't you? We have no width and no pace.

What has that got to do with 2 DM's ?

We havnt a winger with pace to put on either way.

Also i thought Sweep was playing well myself.

2 DMs is his favourite formation, but I don't think it's really working so far...We need more physical presence upfront and I think sticking Jo up there would have been a decent shout, but he's gone for the rest of the season! Caicedo maybe but he's not really that good in the air. We could try Elano just behind Bellamy or (cringes) Evans...not much option.

The mind boggles with his team selection at times, 4 defenders, one of which has been one of our best players in midfield, and 2 defensive midfielders against one of the shittest sides in the premiership. What a positive team to play. No width, no work rate to speak of, nothing very much to be positive about. I hope the second half is better. I am looking after the kids today and they are getting bored!

What is wrong with Elano (L), De Jong, Ireland and SWP (R) in the middle and Robby and Bellamy up front. Not ideal but more positive than this lot?

Agreed....why bring Danger Mouse into it, and since when were there two of him? Surely one of em is Penfold?
