Hughes uses january as a scape goat?

How many times have we heard hughes come out and speak about january every time after an embarrasing defeat?

It just winds me up with the squad we've got. The likes of Robinho, Ireland, Kompany, SWP etc. who'd walk into any team below the top 4 and even merit a place in the starting line-up of the top 4. So why with a good team are we in the bottom 3 (THE 3RD WORSE TEAM IN THE PREMIERSHIP!!) with half the season gone?

People saying it takes time and all that crap (with I used to say) need to ask themselves has any progress been made at all this season?

because I havent seen any at all. Because for me yesterday was the final nail in the coffin for me, when you cant beat the bottom of the league when they have zero confidence you've got to ask yourself can you manage a team like city???

Also, you hear in the media about how awful a season spurs, west ham, sunderland and newcastle are having?? but the fact is, there above us in the league and they dont have a squad half as good as ours!!

if i remember righlty when hughes took over blackburn he was doing pretty bad before it all started to click inot gear after christmas, im not too worried yet.

Surely any half decent manager, taking over a squad that finished 9th last year, having spent £80m on it in the summer, would also need to spend another £50m on it before managing to get it out of the relegation zone.

Sadly i think the fact were in the bottom three will scare a lot of class players off....unless there just comming for the money

I really wish we could just split the forum in two for some time. I actually voted "no" to Hughes twice (despite appearances), but the Hughes out crowd are boring me to death. Monomaniacs the lot of them. Moon shifts of its axis? Hughes fault. Frankly, given the Arabs employ Cook, and Cook employs Hughes I'm really surprised they haven't gone after the Arabs directly. They're after Hughes. They've started on Cook. Why stop at Cook?
