Does anyone know what sort of record Hughes had at Blackburn when visiting Bolton under Big Sam? It might help predict the outcome of tomorrow's game.

Blackburn Rovers 4 - 1 Bolton Wanderers Lose 24/02/2008 Hughes v Megson
Bolton Wanderers 1 - 2 Blackburn Rovers Lose 13/01/2008 Hughes v Megson
Bolton Wanderers 1 - 2 Blackburn Rovers Lose 04/03/2007 Hughes v Sam (Sam left for Barcodes April 28th)
Blackburn Rovers 0 - 1 Bolton Wanderers Won 22/10/2006 Hughes v Sam
Blackburn Rovers 0 - 0 Bolton Wanderers Draw 14/01/2006 Hughes v Sam
Bolton Wanderers 0 - 0 Blackburn Rovers Draw 11/09/2005 Hughes v Sam
Blackburn Rovers 0 - 1 Bolton Wanderers Won 24/01/2005 Hughes v Sam
Bolton Wanderers 0 - 1 Blackburn Rovers Lose 28/12/2004 Hughes v Sam
Blackburn Rovers 3 - 4 Bolton Wanderers Won 10/01/2004 Hughes (Manager since 16th September 04) v Sam

----------------------------------------

I think that's right. Hughes never played Sammy Lee. So, against Fat Sam's Bolton, Hughes overall record is

W 2....... D 2........L 3

His record at Bolton is 2 wins and a draw.
-----------------------------------------

Newcastle United 0 - 1 Blackburn Rovers Won 01/03/2008 Hughes v Sam (Sam left 9th of January)
Blackburn Rovers 3 - 1 Newcastle United Won 01/12/2007 Hughes v Sam
Newcastle United 0 - 2 Blackburn Rovers Won 05/05/2007 Hughes v Sam (Sam in 29th of April)

W 3......D 0......L 0

------------------------------------------

So Hughes v Sam = 10 matches, Hughes has won 5, drawn 2, lost 3.

I can't guarantee I have all this right. I tried to find some information that would give me manager v manager (without having to go through all this myself), but I didn't come up with a site. To be fair to both of them, Fat Sam had a stinker at Newcastle, on the other hand, Hughes first game against Sam's Bolton he'd hardly been in the job five minutes (similar to Sam when he took over at Newcastle).

Thanks for the research. Hughes obviously has the edge over Big Sam so a City defeat looks less likely. My prediction now is therefore a 2-2 draw.
