Ian Prior of the Guardian took great glee in reporting on the Gary Cook e-mail situation.

Yet he's now retweeting sick jokes on Twitter:

@RossOCK The Irish equivalent of the haka would be to shoot members of your own team.

People in glass houses.

No doubt Ian Wright will be demanding a full investigation at the highest level with all involved being sacked.

I think the club have played a blinder turning Buzzer's old boozer into the press hospitality area. Makes these clowns sitting ducks.

I took it to be a joke about the troubles in Ireland. The Haka is a Maori war dance, he's retweeting a joke suggesting the Irish equivalent is to shoot each other. Given the team is an all-Ireland side it's needless to say the least.

Please be careful, I go in at Entrance S as well!

Weird.
Not witty enough to be amusing. Not even clever enough to be insulting.
This is how it's done...

The English equivalent of the Haka would surely involve sitting each opposition player down (comfortably, of course) and repeating, over and over, "just remember who won the bloody war!"

:)

If it was the England football team doing a Haka it would involve sitting the opposition player down, then f*cking his wife (apart from any blues invloved of course!)

Re-tweeting doesn't always mean they are highlighting the tweet in a positive way. Could be negative.

For example, Ollie Holt has re-tweeted a lot of racist tweets recently to do with this Rooney Rule campaign he's behind.

Could be Prior's way of "showing up" the author of the joke

Doubt it mind

I think we have to be careful not to sink to their level and get touchy about every anti City story and apparent/actual double standards.

It is natural to defend our great club, we all do it but we dont want to get like
some of the sad gits you read in the comments sections.
