Imagine if we needed to beat West Ham last game of the season to ensure fourth spot, also meaning that this result would relegate the Hammers. Imagine us winning 1-0. Now imagine Carlos getting that goal!!!!!

I just hope it's not that desperate for either team. It would be a bit dodgy getting out of there if we sent them down.

I think West Ham will be fine... They play better against teams that play football and they get a lot of them.

But Stoke this weekend is a must must must win for them

..I was dreading them getting beat last night because I see that last game being important for both clubs...it could both ways though with them all ready down with nothing to play for...we will see...

I think the only team in the bottom 3 that can cause a problem for West Ham is Hull. I can't see Burnley getting out of it.

I like the Hammers, I would say there my second team, prob because they hate Spuds & Chelsea.

I would much rather see West Ham stay up than the likes of Hull, Burnley Bolton etc. Atleast you get a decent following at atmosphere from West Ham. By the same rule I would like to see Newcastle, Forrest & Leeds etc back in the PL. Proper teams!

I also wouldnt like to have to go there on the last day, If they are fighting for survival. They turned the scum over at the swamp in the same scenario a few years back!

It would be bizarre. Not sure how Tevez would react at the final whistle. The rest of the players, and all our fans, would be going absolutely mental. Tevez would be experiencing a whole host of different emotions. But Neil Warnock would be celebrating, i know that much!

There's an affinity between West Ham and City in lots of ways.

I've got a strong feeling it will come down to this game for us, at least.

I really wouldn't like to go there needing something with them fighting for their lives.

I hope they save themselves long before then.

This ^^^

we need them already safe by the time we play them or already down. Needing points to survive would not be good news for us, though if Wolves are good enough to turn them over, we should be too.

I hope it doesnt come down to this either, But.....I was talking to a mate about this game and suppose they got rid of Zola and did bring Hughes in, and they needed the win to stay up and we needed to win for 4th place. I don't know what Id do.

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit, but I hope both teams destiny is settled by then

Was thinking about this before at work, i would hate to send them down as i quite like them as a club. Not the easiest of run ins either.

H Stoke City
A Everton
H Sunderland
A Liverpool
H Wigan Athletic
A Fulham
H Manchester City
