It’s an interesting concept, one where you can deny any sense of responsibility for what may come as it would have happened anyway with a Labour Party that are ‘all the same’.I don’t feel like there’s much difference between the conservatives or Labour.
The councils in particular are corrupt as anything, but I would say make your own mind up
At least you admit that the current governance are corrupt, which shows you accept and champion what you see which probably means that you are making something out of it.

My idea of democracy is for people to make up their own mind about who they wish to vote for, without being "persuaded" to vote for A, B, C or whoever. You clearly disagree. Fine. I'm not going to try to change your mind by endlessly arguing/debating/discussing (you choose) the issue.Is it really a democracy if you can't try to persuade people to change their minds?

It was an open ended question intended to provoke thought rather than debate.
Obviously doesn't work for those of a more linear mindset though.
Representive party democracy is reliant on attempting to persuade others to change their mind. I would have thought that is fairly self-evident and non controversial view.
