I don't believe that happened

What event most shocked/surprised you at a City game.

QPR at Home, I think 1992, City leading the game 2-0, QPR pull one back and then in the last minute are awarded a penalty. Tony Coton tips the ball round the post, cue mass celebrations only for QPR to equalise from the resulting corner.

QPR Home 1998 Jamie Pollock scores an unbelieveable own goal, then our keeper picks up a pass back and they score from the resulting free kick, the goal that ultimately relegated us.

Alan Kernaghan 1994/5, Beat 3 defenders before chipping the goal keeper from fully 40 yards against Leicester in the FA cup.

Eric Nixon 1987 City leading comfortably 1-0 before he smacks Mark Bright off the ball. Penalty awarded and Nixon sent off. City eventually lose the game 3-1

Niall Quinns penalty save. Scored one then went in goal to save Dean saunders penalty.

Anyone else?

Didn't the result of the game also relegate Derby that season?

Three nil down at half time and Barton sent off away at Spuds. Switched radio off in disgust.

Curiosity led me to switch radio back on 45 mins later when making a brew in the kitchen. Back to 3-2. Stayed glued to the radio, the wife's brew went stone cold, and the rest is history.

Yes I think it did, we also put sunderland down on the last day also

- In the grand scheme of things, not that big a deal, but in 2000/2001 we were 3-0 down at home to Charlton, when Richard Dunne, about 40 yards from his own goal line, decided to smash the ball into the other half, only for it to rebound off Claus Jensen's shin and loop over the head of a despairing Nicky Weaver.

- Blackburn hitting the woodwork 4 times to keep us in the game.

- Hitting the woodwork 5/6 times against Bolton and conceding a last minute penalty.

- Middlesbrough stealing the points without having a shot on target.

- Pearce's last penalty.

- Fowler's penalty vs. 'Boro.

What youa re talking about there is "Typical City" syndrome.

Radi Antic's goal, totally against the run of play, against Luton. The draw would have saved us and we were all pretty comfortable that's what was going to happen with only a few minutes left to play.

Notts county away in the cup

Hit the woodwork time and time again. Gary Lund scores 6 mins in injury time to put us 1-0 down, unbelieveably we go stright to the other end and hit the crossbar.
