Firemen need to get up to date and realise just what is going on for most of the people who pay their wages.

Not blowing sunshine up my own arse I was pointing out it's not just about fires, he said there are loads of military can do this job but where is their training? They get taught to roll out a hose and squirt water from outside not exactly the same is it. As for striking over bonfire weekend maybe we should wait until it's quiet and do it then no one will notice pretty much defeats the object of strike action which is to make a point is it not? I've never said we are all heroes but we do more than just fires maybe one day you will find out but I hope for your sake you don't.
And I'll do the job I signed up for when I get the pension I signed up for.
