I've just bought a new car & it has a little hole near the handbreak (like what you'd plug headphones into) which is to connect an i-pod to the car's stereo so you can play music from the i-pod in the car through the stereo.

however I need a get something to connect the i-pod to this - any idea what I should be looking for?& where I could get it?

Argos, it's called something like "In car A/C adaptor" or something. Or go in Curry's/Dixon's and tell them, they will tell you what you need. Will cost like £5 or something

the ac adaptor is power ant u knob ;p

whatever you do...dont plug power into it...the power lead looks like a motorola phone lead

you need a headphone jack to headphone jack...so basically you play your i-pod out of the headphone socket into the car stereo

you need this headphone to headphone jack cable = http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=35MM35

in car power ac adaptor = http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Gadgets/ipod+accessoires/INCAR+IPOD+CHARGER?productId=22276

no he wont...

if he asks for ac adaptor he will get an ac adaptor...not an headphone to headphone jack ;p
not if he goes in and says, " i need something to connect my i-pod to my car socket" he won't, which is what i said ;)

thanks a lot for that

I'll see if I can get one locally & if not I'll order one from that site

just to confirm I need the jack to jack lead only & NOT the power adaptor as well?
