(And from what I saw as well we stick with Bobby.)

Jnr Kisby said:They can keep him. Last night was a wakeup call to those who want Jose. His football is more negative than anything Mancini plays. I think Real left their half about twice in the first half, absolutely gutless.

He made the game as niggly as it was with his tactics and the shite he's been spouting in the press. Tranny wasnt happy with the lack of service as early as the 20th minute and the Madrid fans and board will be less than impressed.
He played 2 defensive midfielders and a centre half in midfield, when he had Kaka and Higuain who were both fantastic against Valencia at the weekend along with Benzema and Ade at his disposal. Not to mention Puyol was at left back, where he hasnt played for around 10 years, coming off a lengthy lay off and Mascherano at centre half. They were without Iniesta and had the seeds of doubt sowed in their minds after the Cope Del Rey final. Barca were there for the taking last night and Mourinho bottled it proving he only as one way. Special my arse, there was only one special one on show last night and he spent 70 odd minutes getting kicked all over the field and getting on with it before the extra room allowed him to show how special he is.
As the home team and especially when your Real Madrid you would expect to attack and even more so when your opponents defence isnt up to scratch. They should have gotten at both full backs (if you can call Alves a fullback). And continued to put pressure on Valdes when it went back.
If you ask me Mourinho got everything he deserved. His football was as turgid as usual only he didnt get lucky like he normally does and will sprinkle over it with some "shock-horror" soundbites to the media which will get lapped up and the tactics and "football" quickly forgotton about.

Great post.
And for me Pepe can have no complaints. I don't think it was a red myself but going in with your foot that high and studs showing mean you don't really have a defence. Adebayor was lucky not to see red too!
The one that done the double last year and hopefully one about to win the fa cup this year. How many English managers have been successful in the premiership?remoh said:cleavers said:Looks like a question to me, maybe asking why you said "at least he is not Italian", is that some anti Italian comment or just Mancini ?

Exactly. You don't go gung ho at a better team than you. He out thought them last week and has a brilliant track record of beating better players with tactics.allan harper said:Jnr Kisby said:They can keep him. And it was still 0-0 at half time, Real came out strong in the second half and the sending off changed the game. I'd of thought that a game with 4 half's most managers would of sent the team out to be cautious at first especially when you're up against the best attacking team in Europe.

I was well pleased with last nights result and even more pleased he is behaving in a way the rm board won't like.

Italians man for man, have won more trophies post 1992 than any other nationality in England.
Basically, you didn't really think that one through
Yeah but how many men called Roberto have ever won a trophy managing a team with a midfielder called Gareth and a forward called Mario?
Answer: Fucking none, get rid.
