I sense trouble on Thursday

Can anyone explain why nobody in the media is asking why these celebrations are allowed to go ahead. Why wasn’t an exclusion zone set up at Klanfield before our game. 5,000 apparently gathered before police set up road blocks. Why no arrests for setting off fireworks illegally. Maybe Merseyside police are waiting to see if there is any video evidence. Why isn’t Priti Patel having a go at their force like she is s the Met force. Why are these feral scum too thick to realise the damage it might do

Because all of the media have their noses in the LFC trough. It's why City have been attacked so vesifourouly - to make sure the biggest fanbase brings in the clicks. Anything LFC does will be even more ignored now they're top and bringing in the cash for everyone.

It will go on for a few years, unchecked by the media, which makes their fans even more emboldened, which then leads to another h,borough or Heysel

But dippers are really likeable cheeky chappy social animals for whom it simply means more.

They don’t need one. There are that many Liverpool fans in Manchester, evidenced by the sheer amount of Liverpool shirts I see all the time across the city these days (could you imagine that happening decades ago?!), they’ll only have to walk to the ground and a few thousand will be there.

Apparently the Spirit of Shankley group got a little upset a few months back when the Mayor of Liverpool warned against such celebrations. Will they issue an apology?

"There is no evidence to support the Mayor’s perception that Liverpool supporters will break any lockdown regulations and gather outside of Anfield should football be resumed and played behind closed doors."

I don't condone violence and hooliganism and I hope Thursday night passes without trouble. If scousers are planning to turn up at ours and locals of City and United get wind I can see mancs merging and it kicking off. I hope idiot dippers have enough sense to stay away or it could turn nasty.

Will be our fault if that was to happen, obviously: /

All that needs to be done is the Merseyside police need to send 40 or so officers down to police their own. Any trouble starts they can simple video it and swoop in on a later date and make arrests. Worked well when City's coach was attacked so what could possibly go wrong?

Some time a go when Leeds v Millwall played police did just that video the Leeds fans causing a riot let it died down then went to there house early doors and got about 100-150 leeds fans and took them to court, mind carnt see liverpool cops doing that
