United have been given clearance by Fifa in their dealings with Le Harve during the Pogba deal- <a class="postlink" href="http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5616509,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 09,00.html</a>

Chelsea have been given a transfer ban and I am sure the powers that be are looking closely at our deal with Jeremy <a class="postlink" href="Helanhttp://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11811_5543909,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">Helanhttp://www.skysports.com/story/0,1 ... 09,00.html</a>

I just have a bad feeling that Fifa are after the 'new money' clubs, I think United are escaping all charges as they always do but I have a bad feeling it is not the end of the matter with regards to City. I think this decision from Fifa is their way of clearing the ground by keeping United out of it so they can focus on punishing City.

I may be wrong and I may be looking way too deep into it but I just have a gut feeling there is something more sinister at work in the corridors of power at Fifa. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks/months.

I don't think we should be worried about a FIFA led conspiracy against 'new money' clubs, United always said they had the relevant paperwork to clear themselves.

I think you're just being paranoid - no doubt ingrained in you from years of watching City f**k things up!

I don't blame you for it, I just feel we are ok on this one

I think you could be right but my gut feeling is something is not right, only time will tell if I am proved to be right.

I think its pretty good news for us, FIFA have said all along that the changes that Chelsea faced were unlike any others might face(including the rags, Liverpool or ourselves).

I hope we come out of this unscathed, but you never know. If our situation is supposed to be worse than that of Chelsea's, FIFA could hit us with a 5 year transfer ban (really hope not).

But its not like just the Premier League clubs that do it, Damien Commolli (director of football at St Etienne) he admitted that the french clubs go to Africa to poach all their young players.

Just a vicious circle only the African clubs can't report the french clubs.

Our deal got international clearence Rennes then have come out with this rubbish about a pre contract. Similar to what Le Harve tried to do to the rags with Pogba except they objected earlier. Fifa have said Pogba didn't have an agreement in place, it makes me wonder if they mean these deals where a youngster agrees to join a club aren't worth the paper the are meant to be written on.

These decisions are all made behind closed doors, there's no democratic idea, accountability or transparency. It's completely arbitrary and I will not be surprised if we're hit with a transfer ban.
