I think I've finally arrived.

In the past, screwups and meltdowns such as today's have sent me into fits of rage. I would've been a totally unpleasant person to be around during extra time, and the win on penalties would've been small solace after working myself up into a fury.

Not only did I totally expect the two late goals, I actually expected either an extra time goal for Aalborg or for penalties to go awry. Somehow, when the two Aalborg goals did come, I could only laugh. It seemed perverse to laugh at my club's misfortune, but that's when it hit me that I finally arrived as a City fan.
