This isnt a thread saying I want him back in the team!

I simply think we missed him last night. Especially now Dzeko has found his lead boots again and with Bolotelli suspended, we could have really done with him at the moment IMO!

I think we might struggle with 2 and a half strikers (a bit harsh on Dzeko, but he looks gash again at the moment!) until January. We have got 11 games (if we beat Wolves in the league cup) in the next 10 weeks upto January 3rd. Iv'e just got a bad feeling that we would struggle to keep all 3 fully fit, Keep Mario un-suspended and get Dzeko back into form!

any thoughts / ideas?

We missed a Tevez like player, we didn't miss Tevez himself.

The Tevez we have is NOTHING like the Tevez of yesteryear.

He's not pining, he's pissed off. This Tevez is no more.
He has ceased to care.
He's retired and gone to meet his agent.
He's a stiff, bereft of passion, he rests on the bench.
If we hadn't have nailed him to the club he'd be playing in Madrid.
He's rung down the curtain and joined the likes of Ireland.

This is an ex-Tevez!

What we missed was Jimmy Milner's energy and drive, as soon as we got that look what happened.

You want Tevez back in - ffs after what he said and did.......only kidding just doing what most people usually do ;-)

I said exactly the same last night about ten minutes in the second half. We needed someone to take on and power through their defence. They were crowding Silva and made life hard for him. They'd have had to do the same to Tevez - seeing as they only have ten outfield players they couldn't really put three on each of them!

If you can forget what he's done for a moment, you can't deny that last night was just the sort of game that he relished and would have probably banged at least one in.

Silly man. (Tevez not OP)

I was gonna agree with the OP, however I think this is the more accurate post:

We missed the Tevez of August 2009-May 2011. Tevez is now history and isn't going to play again. A player like the old Tevez would have been perfect though last night.

As daft as it sounds as well, we missed a player like Bellamy. The game for a lot of the time was so slow and they're was no urgency whatsoever, Bellamy's pace would have been a great option to have.

We got the win though and the job is done so fair play.

He really owes us for missing these games.

Absolutely mate, let's hope payback starts on Sunday....
