I wonder who the 6 were who stormed off to see Cookie

If I were Mancini I would be finding out who these players were and keeping a very close eye on their behaviour. If he picks up any vibes that they're not 100% behind him, he needs to ship them out in January (and I don't care who they are).

Of course..................

Because that's exactly how we want to start another new era, with total mistrust, and division amongst the team!

Yep. That's exactly my point. I don't mind players who liked Hughes being upset about his departure, but if that were to carry on into animosity against the new man, they need to be shifted before it gets out of hand.

I can't see why there would be lots of animosity carried forward to the new manager from the players, or the vast majority of the fans for that matter.

Though I wouldn't be sure about the folk who were screaming for Hughes's head, because if Mancini loses a few times they will turn their impatience on him. It's a vicious circle.

I would tend to say that the fans who were behind Hughes will be the first to get impatient.

What is true though is that football is all opinions, we have been divided before on issues, we will be again in the future.

Would be nice to just debate it all without the childish name calling that comes from both sides of the arguments.

Just my little joke mate. Seriously, just watch them Hughes Inners go if we lose against Stoke. I'm sure some of them want us to lose that game etc etc. Oh the irony.

I know you was mate.

In all this a few have lost what is the most important thing imo, we are Manchester City, not Mark Hughes, not Robinho or not anybody else for that matter. Players and managers will come and go, some sacked, some will go because they believe they have a better offer, leaving us all feeling cheated but so what?

Back and support them by all means, but lets not get all teary eyed over highly paid football professionals whi are here because it is a job to them, one that they get highly paid for and one that they are here for because we pay the most, not because of any love for our club.

I was a Hughes Inner but I do NOT want us to lose against Stoke (How can anyone possibly know if we would have lost under Hughes anyway, same goes for Wolves away). I would have liked to see how Hughes' plan panned out and as I've said elsewhere now the Hughes Inners can never be proved right and the Hughes Outers can never be proved wrong. We just carry on with the manager merrygoround and if results don't pan out for the rest of the season Mancini will be gone by the summer too. I really, and sincerely, hope not. If he buys in two or three decent defenders in January I can't see how he could fail but this is a funny old league this year and anything can happen, just ask Benitez (not the Brum striker). Hughes' main mistake was that his Defense didn't click and he wasn't to know that at the start of the season. Shame.
