Looks like my flight from Prague to Liverpool in the morning won't happen - Prague airport closed now

But I have to be in UK on Monday or else, so, my partner here is borrowing her brothers car to drive me to Calais tomorrow (after the match on tv) and I will get a ferry to Dover and then a train to Manchester

My partner will then drive back to Prague

This is a 22 hour minimum round trip for her. Wow she must love me (I'm 56, she's 28 ) LOL

By the way - no other available flights to UK until Wednesday at earliest and trains and buses all fully booked

Seriously hope you've pre-booked the ferry; saying on the news here that all Dover-Calais ferries are fully booked til fook knows when. Not sure about Calais-Dover though.
