I went to see Clapton a few years ago here in Belfast....i genuinely have been to hundreds and hundreds of gigs and this was definitely the worst, most boring show ive ever been to.

Yep be came out with some very rum stuff during his Thin White Duke period. Also detained at an airport for possessing Nazi paraphernalia. Later blamed it all on cocaine addiction

Living on milk and red peppers can do horrible things to a person. Read too much Nietsche as well especially Ubermensch. Strangely enough, it was when he lived in West Berlin that the fascism ideology actually became abhorrent to him. Apart from a few lyrics in "its no game" he never really mentioned it again.Even the so called nazi salute at Victoria Station in London was a mock up by the NME.
