To this very day all I ever hear is The Happy Wanderer and bleedin' Greensleeves!!

They can't be time travel machines from the sixties because their prices have gone up.

Anyone ever heard a modern tune out of the buggers?

They fucking are! That's the whole point. There aren't any new ones. Nobody makes new iced cream vans. Or am I wrong?

Got thrown back about 35 years, when I was at home in August. The ice cream van stopped right outside our house, and in time-honoured fashion, Mum sent me skippity-hop down the garden path with her purse, to get whatever I fancied.



(The seller wasn't much of a looker, so I had to settle for a Magnum.)
