Scenes and lines you never can forget and shape the film. My favourite is the "On the Waterfront" scene in the back of a limo with Marlon Brando and Rod Steiger. Steiger, a mobster, is talking his brother (Brando), a punch drunk ex-boxer, into not squealing to the crime commission regarding criminal and illegal practises run by the Mafia in the New York docks. Brando refuses then launches into his "Charlie I could have been a contender. It was ypu Charlie. It was you I could have taken Wilson that night" referring to him taking a dive on mob instructions
Steiger then replies that Brando received some money but is unable to change his mindset. Brando exited the limo and the expression on Steiger's face is priceless as he is well aware he will be driven straight to his place of execution.
