The ref would probably disallow it though against the rags !!! Although clearly it wasn't in both hands and under control.

agreed it would be illegal and against F.A rules to allow it, plus the referee would also say the sun was in his eyes and he didn't see Tevez approach him, even though it blantently was dull and raining.
