Yesterday enchanced my love for City more than I could imagine. As daft as it sounds, the hurt it produced and the passion it made just made me realise how much City means to me, and it already meant the world to me. Sorry for sounding negative or being cheesy for sounding like I'm trying to turn a negative into a positive, but I just really love Manchester City, as I always have done, but heartbreak like that makes you realise what City means to ya, and how much hatred you feel for 'them'.

Peace and Love Blues, CTID

Hear hear! Couldnt agree more! I love my club, always have and always will.

Yesterday hurt but funnily not as much as the 4-3 game at OT - dont know if you felt the same?

Our time is coming and soon - there will be one or two more blips like yesterday but few and far between - 6 losses all season in the league and only 2 of them against a top 6 side (the scum).

Pain is just momentary - it will all be forgotten by Tuesday and everyone will move on.

I truly believe all the painful moments such as yesterday will be banished when we achieve glory - everyone else will hate it especially Man U fans - they have never experienced us dominating football (well briefly between 68-70) so they will not know how to handle it when we become the major world force.

We are not going to be overnight successes - who in football ever is? Chelsea were already fairly strong before Jose came along remember.

But in the next 2-5 years look back and smile.

We may beat Utd in a final for example or to the title with 2 games to go - the past will then be erased forever!

Dont give a shit about united never have - do hate them if anything i have a grudging respect for them that they keep going until the very very end - there are too many last minute goals for it too be a fluke and Bacon face is quite literally one of the best man managers in the game who assembles teams who play for him.

I love City fookin ell do i - in tears yesterday but god sometimes just sometimes its so fookin hard but i know its sometihng that i cannot change nor would i

Great thread. Good post dctid, but man up, less of the tears.

Nothing to cry about yesterday. An unlucky defeat is nothing to cry about.

We are on the up mate. Days like yesterday will make the experiences of the many tomorrows we will face all the sweeter.
