Just about every one of our players with the exception of four or five should be playing out of the skins in the remaining fixtures (to increase their saleability according to reports in the media about their pending departure when Pep arrives).
Unfortunately I suspect that some will just adopt "I couldn't care less" attitude.

They've apparently had that attitude since about October.

Why? The players know they have no future at the club and that they are going to be sold. If they play harder and do better, they increase their price tag, which makes it harder for the club to get rid of them and makes it possible that they will become unsellable and be left training with the reserves. It's not like they play for a relegation club, and their performances might be the difference playing in the top division and dropping down to the Championship. Everyone knows what they're capable of, and they will get a CL club each regardless. The players all know they will have a good gig either way. Realistically, it is actually not in their favour to play well at this point. Better to be awful and make the transition to their new team easier.
