If we get Nasri before arsenal play Udinese, does that meen he will serve his 1 match suspension with us, maybe thats why we havnt signed him yet, where waiting till after that game.

Yes, although I doubt that's the reason. Some of the bigger signings are usually deliberately kept obscure by the magnates of the football clubs to intensify the excitement regarding the transfers. That's the smart man's deduction.

However, the answer you'll probably get from others is that the competition for Nasri as well as agreeing the deal itself is the main reason for time consumption.

ESPN seem to think the money they save on Cec Fab will pay for Nasri's extra
pay. So there for he will stay. They said it not me.

If Nasri plays in that game, he would be cup tied wouldn't he?
Yes!

Yes!

He cannot play in that game as he is suspended. That was the whole point of the thread.

The thing is transfers are drawn out these days, and Wenger is a ****! I'd almost guarantee he isn't signed by after the second leg let alone next Tuesday. We've not out one bid in yet, fuck knows why. The day after the season ended in May the number one player we needed was a creative, quick, ball carrying attacking midfielder.. the season starts on Monday and we have seemed to have dragged our feet in this area since Snachez.

Dan,like myself, you have no idea what the technicalities are of such a deal, however,'dragging our feet' will be the last thing Cook,Marwood and co will be doing.
Rest assured they will be doing everything within their power to get their man asap.

If we sign him before the first leg then he will serve a 1 match suspension for us in europe

If we sign him after the first leg of the udinese game then he wont miss any european games for us. (he wont be cup tied as he wouldnt have played in that first leg)

I have mentioned in a different post that maybe we are waiting to sign him after the first leg. he would miss the swansea game granted, but not any champions league games.

If we sign him after the Udinese game, not only will he miss the Swansea game, but he'll probably not be ready to play much of a part in the Bolton game. Sign him now and he'll probably be on the bench on monday but play a full part at Bolton.

Totally agree mate. I want him signed now 100% so he can intergrate with the squad and take on board Mancini's ethos quickly. - It took clichy a couple of weeks to come to terms with Mancini's training sessions and the mentality of the other players. Sooner the better, but was just a thought. :)

I will be very disappointed that we didn't get Sneijder instead. Especially when Inter Milan want Tevez and are prepared to do a deal.

Oh deary me. You're 21. Act it.

just a couple of things i have wondered about, if fabrigas goes before nasri, does anyone think it will kill the nasri deal dead as wenger is obviously worried about the lack of midfield opportunities, also would you has a football club be willing to sell tevez to a club that is going to sell their midfield star to your rival just so they can get their funds in to purchase him, i definetly would say to inter don,t come for tevez if you sell snieder to them?

Latest on BBC website is Tevez will be a loan deal (if he goes, that is!). Apparently the usual way of working in Italy, loan first with obligation to buy, so I read somewhere. They would still need to free up the wages though so they can pay Tevez.

What's a sig? (I'm not 21)

No, I really don't to know what a sig is. Also don't really want to know.
