While the results leave a fair bit to be desired I don't think it's two years wasted. I am inclined to believe that the club was a shambles before Hughes came in, and improved the facilities across the whole of the club. If he goes, he will have left some mark (no pun intended) on the club. He will have established a springboard from which the next geezer might just jump a little higher.
