IF we win the title against the Rags...

If we beat the rags next week we could add a 2nd verse to their greatest ever song about us. Thanks for the tune Stretford end.

This is how it feels to be City
This is how it feels to be small
You sign Phil Jones we sign Kun Aguero Kun Aguero

This is how it feels to City
Guardiola's leading the way
This is how it feels when you win the league on derby day derby day

Brutal

Just realised, if we do win the league against the rags it would mean Kyle Walker would get a guard of honour at Wembley.

even a weakend team (if it can be called that) will look something like

eddie
walker
danilo
stones
laporte
ferdy
kev/silva
ilkay
bernardo
jesus
sane/sterling

still better than what the rags have
Who is this “ferdy” character?

play the kids. CL (not for me ) is far more important to the club.
Won’t happen.

We had a few weeks rest when they were all in Abu Dhabi, all had a nice relaxing international friendly break and an easy game against Everton with no Kun. They should all be fresh as fuck for this next two weeks.

I think Pep is playing a few mind games saying he’s going to look at the Rags’ game selection ahead of the CL tie, knowing full well that if we lose to United we will need to win two Prem games before a possible CL semi final. A good win against United means we can rest players for the rest of the season in the Prem ahead of possible CL semis and final.

There may be a bit of quality for quality rotation: Sterling/BSilva, for example. But we won’t be seeing major changes like people are suggesting. If they are all expected to play Arsenal at Wembley, Arsenal at Emirates then Chelsea at home like they did, they will all be playing these two weeks n’all.

That's what gives me hope that Pep won't make wholesale changes. I thought he was going to rest players in one of the three games you mentioned but he just went for all of them. I think he'll take the same approach with the next three.
