I’d start with next year a live feed of the conversation between the referee and any other officials, obviously would only work on Tv.
Var decisions for next year to be shown on screen at the ground with the ref stating what decision was made.
Still think something around more points for an away win would stop teams not wanting to play football and defending for 90 mins.
Last 5 mins of the CL final, Delph gets a little bump from Messi and gets a free kick. But wait, although it didn't look like much contact, Delph's stayed down. He has to go off, which means that under the new rules, Messi also has to go and since City have made all their subs, if Delph can't return, Messi will have to sit out the rest of the game... :-)The player who fouls another player (who has to go off for a few minutes treatment) also has to leave the field until the injured player or a sub is on the pitch
What if the attacker's torso is an inch offside, so there's daylight, but not for the entire length of the torso?Offside is a necessary rule to prevent mass goal hanging and hoof ball. But , in the light of VAR I would change the rule so that only the torso counted and there had to be daylight between the two torsos. Currently, VAR gives the advantage to the defender and goals are ruled out when the attackers heel is an inch offside. When you consider the vaguery of when the pass actually leaves the foot, an inch offside is just a guess.
What would you do?
Mine would be:
-Get rid of Own Goals, award the goal to the last player on the scoring team to have a touch
-The player who is fouled in the box has to take the penalty
Watchu got?
