If you could pass one law....

After todays dreadful news from one of one my best mates, his step son being murdered from a stabbing, anyone searched and found to be possession of a knife should serve a 10 year prison sentence without any remission given.
I await the fucking snowflakes to read in horror !!

Add some sort of intent clause in there and could be onto something. but that intent clause is an issue to prove.

purely down to the fact there are valid reasons for carrying knives around.

I have a question. Does UK still have the death penalty? I would also like to know the opinion of the people in the UK with regards to the death penalty. I know it's very common in America and something which I don't agree with entirely.

Nope the UK doesn't have it and its proven to be of no deterrent at all in the States.

That anyone complaining of an itch would be tortured.
Wait! Scratch that.
I'd pass a law that anyone who admitted to a crime they commited would face absolutely zero prison time...instead, they would be sentenced to a determined amount of trampolining.
That'd shake things up

Dry only. Boiling them is a luxury by the sound of it, and don't you dare fuckin' mention sugar!; )
You only have to look at the fucking state of the health of people in this country to see that some severe sugar laws need to be implemented here.

We are a nation of fat slobs who are so bone idle and gluttonous that their fatness leads to health problems which puts strains on the NHS that are so avoidable if people weren’t so fat.

You can relate most (possibly even ‘almost all’) illnesses and ailments, both physical and mental, and relate them to poor diets.

Look at Covid; if this nation wasn’t so fucking fat and unfit, we’d have tens of thousands fewer deaths than we’ve had!

compulsory road tax, mot and insurance for cyclists
Will car drivers have to pay road tax as well then? Because currently they only pay tax on their cars, which is related to age of car and emissions. There’s no such thing as road tax.

Bikes don’t have MOTs, they have services. That’s because the MOT tests the cars for emissions safety standards. Bikes don’t off emissions.

Bikes should be serviced annually though. All decent bike shops do that.

I agree about the insurance, I have it on mine.

I’d add into it a cycling licence to prove you have passed even a basic understanding of the Highway Code. There are far too many who either don’t know or just don’t give a shit. If it’s licensed then there can be solid repercussions put in place for those who don’t follow the rules.
