Mine (like many others' would be De Rossi) because he has looked very good and influential recently, he can provide cover and centre back and we could start Yaya further forward!

Tough question... There's Van Persie, Eden Hazard and DeRossi its tough to pick one cos each one has different positions and reasons, I'll go for the sensible option DeRossi.

Edit: I think we should have offered more for Hazard he's gonna be some player this season.

We need a Centre-back... I'd feel alot more assured about upcoming fixtures. Kolo is a legend in this league but he's getting on (a tad)

Picking a forward is just being greedy, we have many.

Either of the Borussia Dortmund lads- Subotic or Hummels.

As you say like many others and believe me there are quite a few, I'd say at the very least 50 who have expressed the same opinion as your good self great minds think alike and all that.
Funnily enough it is about that same amount of people who have had a eureka moment and started a thread that's exactly like this one.

Hazard or De Rossi is a very very tough choice!

Hazard is such a fast and dynamic playmaker that would have given us something new and different, would probably have eliminated the need for a winger at all as he could have switched between the middle and either wing.

De Rossi is one of the best midfielders in the world and partnering him with Yaya is like a real life version of a cheat code in FIFA. Barry is a quality player and would still play a big part but De Rossi is just on another level.

Tough choice but I would say De Rossi would edge it for me... shame neither have come, if we had grabbed both of those Barcelona and Real Madrid would be seriously concerned right now. Thiago Silva in 3rd place.

I wouldn't want to buy anyone over 25. We have lots of players in their prime, we don't need anymore. We don't want our squad to all grow old at the same time.

We don't need any central midfielders. We will have 9 in our 25 man squad. Ridiculous to buy anymore.

Two areas we are quite short of cover is centre half and wide areas. We don't need starters, we need a bigger squad. So, my choice would be Scott Sinclair - since we've not been linked with a centre half (unless you'd count Martinez as a centre half then my answer would be him).

It could be a spot on transfer window for me then...
