Everyone who didn't go tonight had their reasons.

I went to see a band on saturday night that I had waited to see for nigh on twenty years, It has put me back financially for the next 3 weeks.....the last thing I need is to be told Im not a proper city fan.

No one's is really having a go at those who couldn't go (and I'm certainly not) because of financial difficulties or over comitments. The feel I got from the thread is that those that could afford to go should of made an effort. Personally I say each unto their own and infact called myself a lucky cvnt for being able to go.

Thats fair enough, But Im a proud Mancunian and a city fan and this thread just makes me feel like shit.
All the shnide comments just reminds of the rags...
 
I thought it was a good spontaneous song. Nothing more, nothing less. I think there was a sense around the ground tonight that we had been let down by the fans who are happy to go to Villa midweek but can't be bothered with the UEFA Cup.

For people that didn't go it is their loss and the atmosphere was probably better without them anyway, there were certainly fewer moaners there tonight.
 
Do my eyes deceive me, 24 pages. where have you been tonight? Touchy subject. I have to say 24000 is pathetic. the south stand singing, when the Blues come marching in. Ironic, the lower the crowd the better the atmosphere.. have i gone mad.
