Like the rest, i keep watching them last 5 minutes back.

What if Nasri hadn't let the ball go out for a throw-in?

What if Hart hadn't taken the throw in from the kick off?

What if Balotelli had scored his header?

Would we still be watching it back over and over?

Football is a funny old game.

One has to wonder.

Nasri does the wrong thing at the right time. If the Multiverse hypothesis is true I suppose that in every other Universe the rags are the champs.

Well, fuck their universe!

Dr. Pangloss was right, this is the best of all possible worlds.

It's stupid. Why can't we just accept that we've been the best team over 38 matches and be satisfied that we're champions? The pessimist in me keeps replaying all the possible scenarios of us fucking it up and not winning! I honestly don't know what would have happened if any of those things happened... Chances are we wouldn't be champions.

Haha typical City might be dead but I can't stop thinking this way!

All those if's and but's culminated in us winning the fecking league. I'll take that, thanks!

-- Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:46 am --

I never bought into that theory either.

You'll drive yourself mad if you keep thinking like that. Just enjoy it for what it is!!!!

What if the Everton players accept defeat? What if that Wigan player had hit the ball slightly off? What if Yaya hadn't that 35 yard strike against Stoke? What if we hadn't scored those last minute goals against Sunderland? What if we had let up at 1-3 at the Swamp instead of pushing it to 1-6?

The whole sequence of events is overwhelming. Sick to think how close we were to a red parade instead of a blue one.

It was meant to be, they always say things happen for a reason. Seeing swp running down clock at 2-2 was just adding to the spectacle.
Our name was written on it.
