I’ve had black beer (Schwarzbier) in town. Had one in Piccadilly Tap not long ago. It’s just not that popular here compared to lager or IPA
 
I made the schoolboy error of walking down Market Street to Exchange Square tram stop yesterday afternoon after lunch at Northern Soul Grilled Cheese on Tib Street.
It was absolutely heaving, despite all the Xmas market stalls selling absolute tat, most of which aren't even remotely Xmas related. There's even a Bau Buns stall in Piccadilly Gardens. Highly festive!
If it was like that in mid November, it will genuinely be like hell on earth in a couple of weeks.

It's amazing how much money is about when everyone is skint.

Suppose the haves have loads and the have-nots have loans.
 
I dont put up a tree or have any decorations up , just another day as far as i am concerned. Not been into it since my dad was very inconsiderate and died in dec in the eighties
